Who is responsible for your data?

UPLFT is operated by Wouter Boot, trading as UPLFT. UPLFT is responsible for the personal data processed through this website and through messages you send me.

What personal data do I collect?

I only receive personal data when you contact me yourself: through the Sideline Scan form, by email, on WhatsApp or on LinkedIn. That's your name, your email address or WhatsApp number, and whatever you choose to tell me about you, your organization, your group and your gatherings. The website has no accounts or newsletter sign-up.

If we work together, I also keep the details needed for agreements, invoices and my business records.

Why do I use your data?

• to prepare your Sideline Scan and send it to you by email or WhatsApp
• to reply to your message and talk about a possible project
• to prepare proposals, agreements and invoices if we work together
• to keep the business records Dutch tax law requires

I process this data because you asked me to reply, because it's needed to prepare or carry out an agreement with you, or because the law requires it.

Who can receive your data?

I don't sell your personal data. It's only handled by the services I use to run this website and my business:

• Cloudflare, for website hosting and security
• Formspree, which delivers Sideline Scan form submissions to my inbox
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to send your answers or get your scan through WhatsApp
• my email provider, for sending and receiving email
• administration and invoicing tools, if we work together

If you click a link to LinkedIn or Substack, that service handles your data under its own privacy policy. Some of these services may process data outside the European Economic Area, using GDPR-approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long do I keep your data?

• Sideline Scan answers and messages that don't lead to a project: up to 12 months
• project and invoice records: as long as Dutch tax law requires, normally seven years

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, so no data goes to font services. The hosting provider may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or object to how I use it. Email wout@uplft.net and I'll handle your request. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

I'll update this statement when the website or the way I work changes. The latest version is always on this page.
